Religious Education

Family Centered Religious Education is a ministry that supports renewal of faith and encourages family involvement in building the faith community of St Ignatius parish. Compelled by the mission of Jesus and in line with the Parish Mission, this ministry commits to:

  • Foster mature faith through catechesis and other formation programs with children, youth and their families
  • Create opportunities to experience the Faith Community
  • Foster involvement in the service of the local Church

St. Ignatius parish offers religious education for ages 2-1/2 through adult, including sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. Ages 2-1/2 through 5th grade meet on Sunday morning at 9:05am. Sixth grade through high school gather on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. Adult classes meet at both times as well. A nominal fee covers all written materials and supplies used by the student during the school year. If you would like to have more information about yourself or your child’s religious education we want to hear from you.
